Automatically Reprocess Returned Leads
This article goes over the reprocessing returned leads functionality that LeadByte offers. It outlines how to turn it on and how it works.
Auto-reprocessing Returned Leads
Previously, when a buyer returned one of your leads, you had two options: manually reprocess it or leave it un-monetised.
To rectify this, LeadByte now includes an Auto-reprocess Returns feature that automatically reprocesses eligible returned leads on your behalf.
How to Enable Auto-Reprocessing
Open your Campaign Settings.
Scroll to the bottom and expand Advanced Settings.
Locate the Auto-reprocess returns checkbox.
Tick the checkbox to enable the feature and set an age limit for returned leads.
The age limit is based on the lead’s received timestamp and prevents older leads (beyond the limit you specify) from being auto-reprocessed.
How It Works
Once enabled, any returned lead within the configured age limit will be reprocessed automatically.
This applies to returns from:
The Buyer Portal
The REST API
Manual returns made by a user
FAQs
Q - What if I don't care about the timeframe and I'm happy reprocessing leads no matter the age?
A - Leave the box blank OR add 0, LeadByte will return leads of ALL age now.
Q - Will this returned lead attempt the Buyer/Delivery which returned it?
A - No! Our reprocess function will skip the Delivery which previously purchased it.
Q - How does this work when multi-selling leads?
A - When multi-sold leads are returned, the lead will be reprocessed only once, resuming from the advanced distribution group the buyer returning the lead exists inside.
