Submitting Leads via REST API (JSON)

Follow

Here you will be shown how and what you need to do in order to submit leads via the REST API (JSON). You have 2 options, with a Supplier or Administration Key.

Option 1 - Administration Key.
This option is ideal if you do not want to lock down the key to one source.

Head over to the icon in the top right of the screen (Admin) > Tech Hub > REST API to get started:

Note: If you do not see this section, you do not have permission. Contact the account owner to obtain access.

Follow the steps:

  • Select Administrator
  • Reference: Give your key a name.
  • Under "Leads" select "Create" from the select box.
  • Enable the key under "Key Status" if you want to use it right away. If not, you can come back to this later.
  • Select "Save" at the bottom of the screen.

Once this is done, hover over "Campaigns" location on the main navigation bar and select "Integration". Your key will now show in the "Rest API key" option shown below:

Once all 3 options above have been selected, an additional option to "Open Guide" will show with your posting instruction to use or send to your tech team.

Option 2 - Supplier Key
Ideal if you want to lock a key down to a source (SID).

Follow the same steps above to create a key. The only difference is you will:

  • Select "Supplier" instead of "Administrator" under "Key Type"
  • Select which source/supplier to link the key to
  • Under the integration guide, you will select a supplier instead of a key. Once the supplier is selected, the key previously created will be automatically populated in the guide.
