Go High Level - GHL Marketplace (New)
This article goes over a delivery method you can use to integrate GHL to LeadByte, allowing you to add contacts and appointments onto GHL, sending from your LeadByte account.
LeadByte has a direct integration with Go High Level which allows you to add a contact and appointment. Follow the steps below to connect your GHL account. Before you start the build within LeadByte please make sure you have authorised the integration on GHL marketplace HERE
Create Delivery
To add contacts / create appointments you need to create a delivery in LeadByte.
→ Give the Delivery a name
→ Select the Campaign
→ Select Direct Post as the Method
→ Select GHL Marketplace (New)
Authorise Access
Upon doing the above you will see the URL auto-populate with https://services.leadconnectorhq.com and a new section will appear called "Go High Level Integration" below the Caps section. This is where you will connect to the GHL account.
→ Select "Authorise Access" (you will be redirected to an Install Confirmation page with GoHighLevel)
→ Click Next
→ Select the Sub Account
→ Copy and paste the GHL tokens and Location ID into your LeadByte Delivery page
Note: If you do not see sub-accounts in the drop down you should check the permissions against the GHL user. It is possible to restrict sub-account access at user level.
Adding Appointment
If you want to add an appointment you will need to get the CalendarID from GHL. This can be found under the calendar settings menu.
→ Tick Add Appointment
→ Add Calendar ID
→ Select the LeadByte field used that collected Start Time and End Time
Note: The Start and End Time need to be sent in the correct format (YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS+HH:MM).
Map Data Fields
Your next step is to map fields between LeadByte and GHL i.e. LastName → Surname. To do this, you will need to:
→ Click “Get Fields”
→ Select the LeadByte INPUT field
→ Select the respective Go High Level OUTPUT field
Testing
Once you have done the above, you are ready to submit a Test. Scroll to the bottom of the Delivery and click “Test Delivery”. A successful delivery will return a
Response matched expected response
What do I do if I need to send to an external GHL account?
If you cannot set up the delivery via the "Authorise Access" button because the destination GHL account is not connected to your account, they will need to provide you with a Private Integration token (PIT), obtained through their GHL sub account Settings -> Private Integrations. They will also need to provide you with the location ID which can be taken from their URL.
https://app.gohighlevel.com/v2/location/bYrTHFMMkkpCL4bG29m9/dashboard
Then you can put the PIT into both the Access Token and Refresh Token boxes, with the location ID as shown:
The scopes that the GHL account owner will need to grant at a minimum are:
- contacts.write
- locations/customFields.readonly
