Delivery Rule Templates
In this article we cover Delivery Rule and Revenue based Templates.
Within a Delivery you have the ability to create Rules, which are a set of conditions that need to be met before sending the lead to a Buyer. You also have the ability to set the Revenue based on rules. IF you want to associate revenue against a lead based on specific data, this option would be used. For example, you may get paid 10.00 if the lead is Female and 5.00 if the lead is male (defined off the Gender field).
Templates
The rules you create can be saved as templates so that you can utilise them across across multiple deliveries saving yourself time. Many of our clients have complex and extensive rules so it makes sense to be able to recycle them.

Where can I create Templates?
Find this feature under the Delivery tab > Rule Templates section. Note that you can create a template from the Delivery screen itself, you can save what you have created as a template.
How does it work?
Firstly, add a new rule and give it a name. Select whether it is a Delivery Rule or Revenue Rule. Select the Campaign that you want to link it to unless it is a rule to be used across multiple Campaigns. Note, if you select a Campaign, the custom fields will be inherited and used to form part of the rule.
Next, create the rule logic. In the example below, this is a rule where the Broadband Provider is not Virgin and the postcode of the lead falls within 20 miles of the value given.
Once you've saved a template, you'll be able to use it on any deliveries linked to the same campaign
