Connecting LeadCapture.io
In this article, we will take you through the main steps to submit form data from LeadCapture.io to a LeadByte campaign, using LeadCapture's own LeadByte integration. This will allow you to submit leads from LeadCapture -> LeadByte via REST API.
To successfully submit data to LeadByte you will need to:
- Have a LeadCapture account
- Generate an integration guide for your LeadByte Campaign
Step 1 - Create LeadCapture Form
On the 'Lead Forms' screen, click the '+ New Funnel' button in the top right corner of the page. Create a funnel/form that collects the data you require.
Step 2 - Connect To LeadByte
Click 'Lead Delivery' and under 'Email Service & CRM' click 'LeadByte' to expand it. On your campaign integration guide on LeadByte, using Optimised Rest API with the API key you'd like to use selected. Your API key just needs to have the 'Leads - Create' permission enabled. Enter the Post URL, the Camp ID and the X_KEY into Lead Capture. Save Changes

Step 3 - Map Fields
Expand the "Field Mapping" section in the LeadByte integration. Scroll down to the form fields and enter the field names as they exist in LeadByte. For example, I want my "Need Quote?" tickbox to relate to my custom data field 1 in LeadByte so I have entered "data1" in the box.

Step 4 - Test
Once you have mapped your fields you should publish your form and test. If you do not see the lead under your LeadByte "Leads" tab, remember to check your System Rejections tab in case the request was rejected.
