Everflow Integration
Everflow is a marketing platform that enables you to track and attribute your marketing efforts. As LeadByte is not an affiliate tracking platform, we recommend Everflow as a system of choice especially if you want to run an affiliate network.
In the article we shall cover the following:
- Why you would need LeadByte and Everflow to work together
- How LeadByte and Everflow works together
- Key steps on how to get LeadByte and Everflow working together
- Working Example
Why you would need LeadByte and Everflow to work together
If you use LeadByte to distribute leads to your Buyers and you use Everflow to manage your Partners (affiliates/Publishers), you will more than likely need to send back to Everflow the leads that you sell as a conversion event. In doing so, you can attribute sales, track revenue and award payouts correctly all in the Everflow platform.
How LeadByte and Everflow works together
When a lead is sold to your Buyer in LeadByte, we load a Postback URL to Everflow to record that event. The Postback would contain the Everflow TransactionID generated from the Everflow offer click and typically the "Amount" (in LeadByte we call this Revenue). This enables you to attribute the sale back to the correct Partner via the TransactionID and award a Payout based on the Amount the lead was sold for.
Within LeadByte you can load a Postback based on the following:
- Lead Received
- Lead Sold (most common for this setup)
Key steps on how to get LeadByte and Everflow working together
For this to work the following will need to be considered:
1. You will need to ensure you have assigned a LeadByte Campaign Field to store the Everflow TransactionID. We would recommend that you create a Custom Field in LeadByte but you can of course use any of the existing Standard Fields i.e. C1, C2, C3 or Source.
2. You will need to pass into LeadByte your Everflow TransactionID just like you do form registration data. It would most likely be submitted as a value against a hidden URL form parameter on your landing page. In Everflow you would append {transaction_id} to the Offers base URL.
Example: https://MyLandingPageURL/?source={transaction_id}
3. You will need to add the Everflow Postback URL to your LeadByte Campaign.
Example: https://test-shared-t2.clqtrk.com/?nid=5&transaction_id=[source]&amount=[revenue]
In the above example we are using the LeadByte Source Field to store the Everflow TransactionID and we are passing back the Revenue into the Everflow Amount field. Tracking Pixels are added under Campaign Settings and you can decide to load the Postback for all leads, supplier specific, all deliveries or specific deliveries.
4. You will need to ensure your Everflow offer is configured correctly to receive the Amount (Revenue) you pass back in the Postback event.
Working Example
In the following video you will see a click generated from Everflow to a demo Landing Page which will submit the form registration data to LeadByte. In turn, LeadByte will attempt to sell the lead to a Buyer and IF sold, it will load a Postback to Everflow to record the event and Revenue generated.
